The Anne Frank Museum is a definite must-see for anyone visiting Amsterdam. Whether you’re a history buff, student, or parent, the gravity of walking through this museum will fill you to the brim with emotion (and if it doesn’t, there’s probably something wrong with you).
Where students come up with the most random things:
Student: “Vitamin C in Spanish is Vitamin Yes!”
Where students ask you some seriously strange questions :
Student to me – “If you went inside my head do you think you would survive?”
Note: The answer is definitely not.
When Miley Cyrus has far too much influence on students:
Student – “Do you know what twerking is?”
Me – “Unfortunately.”
Student – “Well, last night I had a dream that Mr. _____ was twerking.”
Where grade 6 girls know they don’t need a man to make them happy:
Student – “Do you need to get married when you grow up?”
Me – “Not if you don’t want to.”
Student – “Do you need to have a boyfriend?”
Me – “Nope!”
Student – “Awesome. I’m going to be a single-pringle for life!”
When I get beauty advice from students:
Student: “Your nails are white.”
Me: “They sure are.”
Student: “They’re really long.. you should cut them.” Then runs away.
